I'm a Month Old Already!

Hi there everybody! Even though their days are longer, my parents can hardly believe how quickly time is passing and the rapid rate at which I am growing. Mom said I had to share some pictures because there are lots of people who want to see what I look like and how I am changing. I still make my parents work pretty hard for my smiles, so it is a little difficult to capture those of camera. So, that gives you all something to check back for in the next couple of weeks. Dad and Mom are excited about other stuff though, they make such a big deal about little things like me holding my head up all by myself, staying awake for 3-4 hours at a time, or even asleep for just as long ; )!

Aoife Roisin - An update

OK, so I'll take a minute to share a little more information. Aoife Roisin, pronounced [ee-fuh][ro-sheen]was 8lbs 3ozs at birth and she was 20 1/4" long. Her name in Irish means: Aoife--beautiful, radiant Roisin--rose (diminutive, i.e. little) She is a happy, healthy little girl and we're so glad to have her. Really. Even if she was up every hour or so last night and thinks of sleep as something akin to a staring-contest and that she'll lose if she closes her eyes and gives up.

Still, her Mother loves her and she is la niña de mis ojos. She has a very bright look and wide-open eyes that makes it seem like she's the most alert little baby ever. Naturally, we're proud and probably a little biased.
