A Costa Brava Vacation!

Happy Holidays!

Here are a few pictures from our most recent vacation to the Costa Brava! We only had a two day work week due to a couple of local holidays that were "bridged" together. We spent four nights away from home in a little country house two hours north of the city. We rented a car and toured the region, which included many small preserved medieval villages, ancient Iberian, Greek, and Roman ruins, as well as natural rural beauty. These are a few of the highlights.

The picture above was taken in Cadaques, a lovely village situated on a rocky peninsula just south of the border with France. It has a small sheltered bay and is completely surrounded by a natural preserve area. I don't imagine the real estate is cheap!

We hope that everyone is doing well. Stay tuned for a new post soon, which will explain the uniquely Catalan tradition of the Caga Tio. If you know any Spanish you should find the title intriguing...
